You must credit
If you have a request.
Post it. If you have a question.
Post it. I am a busy person.
I do this for fun.
So if you request something
and I dont get to it right then and there,
then dont be a dick.

kk...I don't know what everyone wants to know about layouts. So....comment.....so I know....I'm working on a new layout and will have it up shortly....it is a scroll box entry layout....just keep checking with me......btw...the codes for the layout that's up now will be posted soon as well. Just remember upload ALL the images to YOUR webhost. I will find out about it. And they will be removed. Otherwise....things may get a little more hectic for me so peace out. ;]
Ok...Since I've been in school I haven't had much time to do anything. But I have a few minutes right now. So I'm going to give some helpful info..
Since a lot of people don't know this...The overrides are html codes that are found and make considerable changes to your journal layout. No, I'm not trying to make people feel stupid. It took me a while to figure it out. If you look at your window when you log in or whenever you're in your info, comment, update pages, there's the links at the top. Go to Manage--Customize. If you want to go to your manage page after you click on customize remove "customize" [which is here--http://www.livejournal.com/customize/] and put in "manage". Easy right?
Ok. From there, it gets easier...I mean it. Alot of people make this so much harder than it is.
When you want to put a picture into your journal entries, you use an img tag. One of these <*img src=*"*image from your webhost*"*> When you change the font, you use font tags. These <*font color="* 000000 *"*>whatever you're writing<*/*font> And the good thing about the font tags, if that you can do so much. I.E. <*font color="*e00000*"> words would make the font red. <*font size="* 5 *">words<*/*font> would make the font big. Just remember every font tag you use MUST be closed with the corresponding tags...Minus the *. There's so much you can do.
I am not great at this. By far no. But I do realize it can be hard to do. So I'm willing to help people out. I'm not going to go into HUGE details about everything tonight...I will do so as things come. Just remember there are some things that are friends only in this community so try to remember to check in and see some awesome stuff. :]
I do have one request to people who use my layouts and images and stuff. Please upload the images to your own webhost. I do these for fun. If I exceed my bandwidth, I will discontinue the layouts. I will delete the images. Just a warning. Thanks :]
I have some great news. I got Image Maps down pat! So my next few layouts will be with image maps. Im working on new things all the time :] I want to post some overrides that we all dont understand or cannot find. Overrides listed today will be for the comments and the navigation banners.
